This course discusses the difference between HIV and AIDS, risk reduction and transmission/infection control.

35134: 4 hr HIV/AIDS Education WS
This course meets the requirements for health-affiliated professionals such as massage therapists and pharmacy assistants. It covers topics ranging from the cause and factors relating to the existence of HIV/AIDS to the social and psychological effects of the diseases. A person living with HIV/AIDS will be among the speakers.

HSSFA401R: Adult CPR and First Aid REVIEW WS
If your Adult CPR and First Aid certification has expired within the last year this class will re-certify you.

HSSFA401: Adult CPR with First Aid WS
This course helps students recognize and deal with emergencies and sudden illness. Upon completion participants will receive a one-year certification for Adult CPR and a three-year certification for First Aid Basics.

HSSFA102: Adult CPR WS
This course helps students recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in victims who are 12-years-old and older. Upon completion participants will receive a one year certification in Adult CPR.

HSSFA413: Adult, Child & Infant CPR with First Aid WS
This course helps students recognize and deal with emergencies and sudden illness and to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in victims of all ages. Upon completion participants will receive a one-year certification in Adult, Child & Infant CPR and a three-year certification in First Aid.

HSSFA301: Adult, Child & Infant CPR WS
This course teaches you to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims of all ages.

HSCAR201: Babysitter's Training WS
This course is for students aged 11 to 15 only. Students learn how to handle emergencies, prevent accidents, and understand children’s needs at different ages.

HSPFA201: Cat & Dog First Aid WS
The goal of the Pet First Aid presentations is to teach pet owners how to be prepared for emergencies that involve a cat or a dog. Participants learn how to protect themselves and the animal from further harm or suffering during emergencies by teaching prompt, effective first aid actions until professional veterinary care is available.

HSPRO101: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider WS
Our professional rescuer courses are designed for people who have a job-related duty to respond to an emergency. This course is also known as BLS, Healthcare Provider CPR or “Level C” CPR.

HSPRO103: Emergency Response WS
STUDENTS MUST SHOW VALID CPR for the HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CERTIFICATION ON FIRST DAY OF COURSE. This course is designed for public personnel, athletic trainers, emergency response team members and others interested in advanced level First Aid skills.

9CARE: Family Caregiver Workshop WS
The Family Caregiver Workshop combines segments on “Legal and Financial Issues,” “Caring for the Caregiver” and “Positioning and Helping your Loved One Move.” Presenters are professionals in the fields of law, physical therapy, social work and nursing. Students will also have a chance to ask questions and to find resources on their specific concerns.

HSSFA101: First Aid WS
This course helps students recognize and deal with emergencies and sudden illness. Upon completion participants will receive a three-year certification for First Aid Basics.

3010: Fundamentals of Instructor Training WS
This course is required by ALL Health Services instructor candidates.

HSSFA203: Infant & Child CPR WS
This course helps students recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in victims who are infants or children under 12. Upon completion participants will receive a one-year certification in Infant & Child CPR.

HSSFA801: Lay Responder First Aid & CPR/AED Instructor WS
This course will give you the information and training necessary to teach adult, child & infant CPR, first aid, AED and workplace safety modules.
