| | Details | This course teaches you to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims of all ages. It is provided only for those who have taken the full course and need to recertify existing certifications.
Upon completion participants will receive a one year certification in Adult, Child & Infant CPR. The laminated Adult CPR and Infant & Child CPR skills cards used during class are yours to keep.
This course meets OSHA & WISHA requirements.
In this course, participants learn to:
Check an unconscious victim
Recognize an emergency and overcome the reluctance to act
Recognize and care for choking, breathing and cardiac emergencies in victims of all ages
Prevent heart disease
Use the EMS system/9-1-1
This course is NOT appropriate for those who need a healthcare-level CPR (aka BLS, Level-C) certificate. Those students should enroll in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be certified for one year in Adult, Child & Infant CPR. |
