Students in the class absolutely must be at least 11 years of age. This course is geared towards younger teenagers and the recommended upper end of the age range is 15. Older teenagers may feel more comfortable and challenged in our Childcare CPR and First Aid with Bloodborne Pathogens training. |
| | Details | This course teaches 11-15 year olds how to handle emergencies, prevent accidents, and understand children’s needs at different ages. Students learn the skills every parent wants in his or her babysitter including safety, basic child care, safe play, First Aid and critical emergency action skills. This course does not include certification in First Aid or CPR. Students enrolled in this class must be at least 11 through 15 years of age. |
