Whether it’s making a doctor’s
appointment or learning where to go in the wake of a disaster, being able
to communicate effectively is critical to one’s safety and well-being.
With nearly 400 local volunteers who collectively speak more
than 80 different languages and dialects, the American Red
Cross breaks down barriers of language by providing translation and
interpretation for non-English speakers in our community.
