  FUNDAMENTALS OF INSTRUCTOR TRAINING (FIT) $45, 5 HOURS

   

  This course is required by ALL Health Services instructor candidates. The course covers the learning process, the role of the instructor, teaching methods and teaching aids, the evaluation process, and administration of courses.

   

  FIT participants will also get practice presenting in front of a group.

  LAY RESPONDER FIRST AID AND CPR/AED INSTRUCTOR COURSE $285, 24 HOURS.  COURSE FEE WITH DVD $430

   

  This course will give you the information and training to teach First Aid, Adult, Infant and Child CPR, Automated External Defibrillation, Bloodborne Pathogens: Preventing Disease Transmission and workplace safety modules.

  FIRST AID & CPR/AED INSTRUCTOR PACKAGE $360, 38 HOURS - INSTRUCTOR PACKAGE WITH DVD (required to teach the course): $505

       1. Standard First Aid and CPR-Adult to refresh your skills - $30.00 (normally $65)

       2. Fundamentals of Instructor Training (FIT) - $45

       3. Lay Responder First Aid & CPR/AED Instructor class - $285

   

  This package will give you the student and instructor level skills necessary to teach Adult, Child & Infant CPR, AED and First Aid. It will also give you an opportunity to observe a class with an experienced chapter instructor to solidify your skills.

   

   

  HIV/AIDS INSTRUCTOR $245, 24 HOURS

  his course will give you the information and training to give HIV/AIDS education presentations in various settings and to teach the 2½-, 4- & 7-hour KNOW curriculum with Bloodborne Pathogens: Preventing Disease Transmission.
