Balancing Work. Life. Service. Professionals in Action (PiA) is a group of young professionals—most of them in their twenties and thirties—dedicated to supporting the American Red Cross through community awareness, volunteerism and fundraising support.    Members have the opportunity to network with other professionals and have fun while they enjoy flexible volunteer opportunities, use their skills and serve their community.   The goal of PiA is to involve members in four key Red Cross components by providing a variety of events/opportunities throughout the year. As a PiA you will experience: Training – gain lifesaving skills & become a trained Red Cross volunteer Preparedness – prepare yourself and family for a local disaster Service – donate your time and skills to serve your community Support – get involved in fundraising events and donate   UPCOMING EVENTS We're working on a new list of activities - check back soon! PiA allows members to gain leadership skills and grow in their involvement with the Red Cross. Members who are active and involved in all four components of membership have the opportunity to be part of the PiA Leadership Team and participate in exclusive events/meetings.
