EMPLOYEE VOLUNTEERING   Volunteering with the Red Cross promotes teamwork, allows employees to apply their skills or learn a new one in a fun way that demonstrates your business’s commitment to the community. We welcome employee groups of all sizes.   ONE-TIME OPPORTUNITIES   The American Red Cross participates in numerous paid days-off dedicated to volunteering called Days of Service. Some examples include: The United Way's Day of Caring, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service or your own company’s day of service.   The Red Cross has teamed up with numerous companies and nonprofit groups on Days of Service, including: Hope Worldwide, The Boeing Company, Safeco Insurance, Girl Scouts and the Washington State Defense Trial Lawyers.   Our chapter has a variety of fun, one-day group projects that support the Red Cross mission, if you have a group and are interested in supporting the Red Cross, contact us at (206) 726-3566 or volunteers@seattleredcross.org and we will find something that fits your needs.     BEYOND DAYS OF SERVICE   Do your employees want to volunteer in the community on a more long-term basis, but aren’t sure what opportunities are available?
